We are dedicated to rescuing, rehabilitating, and nurturing native breeds while safeguarding their genetic heritage and promoting sustainable, ethical cattle care practices.

Our mission is rooted in respect, compassion, and a long-term commitment to preserving indigenous cattle for future generations.

हमारा समर्पण

Our Passion

Gau Seva is not charity for us—it is a responsibility. Every rescued cow reflects our belief that compassion towards animals is the foundation of a humane society.

Every rescued cow represents our unwavering belief that compassion towards animals is the true measure of a humane and conscious society. We see service not as an obligation, but as a sacred duty to protect those who cannot speak for themselves.

Through dedicated care, respect, and mindful stewardship, we strive to provide safety, dignity, and lifelong support to every cow under our protection. Our work is guided by empathy, traditional wisdom, and a commitment to ethical living, ensuring that each life we touch is treated with kindness, patience, and reverence.

हमारा कार्य

What We Do

Five commitments that shape every day at the gaushala.

01

Rescue of abandoned, injured & old cattle

We are committed to rescuing abandoned, injured, and aged cattle who are left vulnerable due to neglect, accidents, or loss of livelihood. Each rescue is carried out with urgency, care, and sensitivity, ensuring the animals are brought to safety and given immediate medical attention, nourishment, and comfort.

Once rescued, the cattle are rehabilitated in a safe and peaceful environment where their physical and emotional needs are addressed. Special care is provided to elderly and injured cows through regular health monitoring, balanced nutrition, and gentle handling, allowing them to live their remaining years with dignity, protection, and compassion.

02

Medical treatment & regular veterinary care

We ensure timely and continuous medical treatment for all rescued cattle through regular veterinary check-ups and prompt intervention during illness or injury. Every cow receives individualized care, including vaccinations, wound management, disease prevention, and emergency treatment, to support recovery and overall health.

Our approach focuses not only on curing ailments but also on long-term wellbeing. With routine health monitoring, preventive care, and age-specific medical support, we strive to maintain strength, comfort, and quality of life. By combining modern veterinary practices with attentive daily care, we ensure that each animal remains healthy, safe, and free from unnecessary suffering.

03

Nutritious feeding & clean shelter

Every cow at the gaushala receives two wholesome meals a day: a balanced mix of green fodder, dry hay, grains and mineral supplements suited to her age and health. Elderly and recovering cows are fed separately so that the weak are never crowded out.

Sheds are cleaned twice daily, bedding is changed regularly, and fresh drinking water is available at all times. Clean, dry, well-ventilated shelter keeps infection away and gives each cow a calm place to rest, recover and live out her years in comfort.

04

Promotion of organic farming & cow-based products

We actively promote organic farming practices that are rooted in traditional wisdom and supported by cow-based resources. By encouraging the use of natural manure, compost, and bio-inputs derived from cow dung and urine, we help restore soil fertility, improve crop quality, and reduce dependence on chemical fertilizers and pesticides.

In addition, we support the responsible development of cow-based products such as organic fertilizers, natural pest repellents, and eco-friendly household items. These sustainable practices not only benefit farmers and the environment but also create livelihood opportunities for local communities, fostering a cycle of self-reliance, ecological balance, and ethical living.

05

Community involvement & awareness

We believe lasting change is possible only through active community involvement and shared responsibility. By engaging local residents, farmers, volunteers, and youth, we foster a collective commitment toward animal welfare, sustainable living, and ethical practices. Community participation strengthens our mission and helps build a support system rooted in care and accountability.

Through awareness programs, workshops, and outreach initiatives, we educate communities about the importance of Gau Seva, organic farming, and compassionate coexistence. By sharing traditional knowledge and encouraging responsible stewardship, we aim to inspire awareness, empathy, and action—ensuring that respect for animals and nature becomes a way of life for present and future generations.

Our Vision

To create a self-sustainable gaushala ecosystem where Gau Mata lives with dignity, villages benefit from organic practices, and future generations learn compassion and coexistence.

By integrating ethical shelter management, natural nutrition, and holistic healthcare, we aim to build a safe environment that honors traditional values while ensuring long-term sustainability.

Through organic farming, natural fertilizers, and community participation, our gaushala seeks to support villages, protect the environment, and revive age-old practices rooted in harmony with nature. We also strive to educate future generations about compassion, coexistence, and responsibility, fostering a deeper connection between humans, animals, and the earth.
