Dedicated Shelter for Injured & Weak Cows
Injured, sick, and immobile cows require specialized care and controlled environments. For this purpose, we maintain exclusive shelters close to our medical treatment areas. These shelters allow our veterinary team to monitor animals closely and provide timely medication, wound care, injections, IV fluids, and follow-up treatment.
Cows with fractures, paralysis, deep wounds, or post-surgery conditions are given restricted yet comfortable spaces to prevent further injury. Soft bedding, clean resting platforms, and quiet surroundings reduce physical strain and mental stress. Our caregivers ensure regular repositioning, hydration, and feeding assistance for cows that cannot stand or move on their own, helping them recover with dignity and comfort.
Shelter for Abandoned & Old Gau-Vansh
A significant number of Gau-vansh arrive at our Gaushala after being abandoned due to age, weakness, or inability to produce milk or labor. For these cows and bulls, our Gaushala becomes a permanent home. We commit to their lifelong care, ensuring they are never neglected again.
Special arrangements are made for elderly Gau-vansh, including easily accessible feeding areas, softer resting surfaces, and extra nutritional support. Caregivers assist those with poor vision, weak legs, or dental issues. Our goal is not only to provide shelter, but to ensure that every abandoned cow lives in peace, safety, and respect for the rest of its life.
Clean Flooring & Hygiene Management
Maintaining hygiene in a Gaushala of this scale is a daily and continuous effort. All shelters are cleaned multiple times a day to remove waste and maintain dryness. Non-slippery, level flooring helps prevent falls and leg injuries, especially among weak and elderly cows.

Separate Shelter for Pregnant Cows & Calves
We maintain dedicated, calm shelters for pregnant cows and newborn calves to ensure their safety and well-being. These shelters provide a stress-free environment, essential for healthy delivery and early calf care.
Special attention is given to nutrition, hygiene, and regular health monitoring during pregnancy. After birth, calves are kept in protected spaces where they can rest, feed, and grow safely under constant supervision, reducing the risk of illness and injury.
Quarantine & Observation Shelter
To prevent the spread of infections and contagious diseases, newly rescued and ill Gau-vansh are first placed in a quarantine and observation shelter. Here, they undergo medical examination, monitoring, and initial treatment before being moved to common shelters. This controlled environment helps protect both the rescued cow and the existing Gau-vansh population, ensuring overall health, safety, and disease prevention within the Gaushala.
Feeding & Resting Zones Within Shelter
Each shelter is equipped with designated feeding and resting zones to ensure Gau-vansh can eat and rest comfortably without stress or competition. Feed and water troughs are placed at accessible heights for healthy, injured, and elderly cows. Separate resting areas allow cows to lie down peacefully after feeding, promoting better digestion, reduced fatigue, and overall well-being. These organized zones help maintain cleanliness, reduce injuries, and create a calm, structured living environment within the shelter.
